How to Care for your Jewellery

ClubTote Jewellery Materials:

We have several collections of jewellery: pearls, corals, glass and jewellery made with primarily Swarovski crystals. Our fashion jewellery mainly composed with tin or zinc, alloyed with copper and then plated with enamel,18 caret gold or genuine rhodium. The stones we use include Swarovski crystal, semi-precious stones and glass. We also use natural & freshwater pearls and glass materials for some of the designs. For most of our pearl and coral collections, a mixture of glass, natural shells and mother of pearl are used.

Jewellery Care:

Many factors influence the wear and tear of jewellery. Some of the factors may include perfume, hairspray, medicine consumption, air pollution, sweats or body imbalance. These factors provoke a chemical reaction in the metal, which can be seen in the form of oxidation. Most of our ClubTote jewelleries are coated with genuine gold and silver, where all gold and silver oxidizes.

You may use our ClubTote polishing cloth, which contains a polishing agent that will help your jewellery to get the shine back. For more serious oxidation, your jewellery will need full cleaning using specialized jewellery cleaners which can be obtained in a local drug store. Please be very careful when you are choosing the solution to clean your jewellery, since each polishing agent contains different chemicals to clean difference types of jewellery. Crystal stones and leather can not tolerate any form of chemicals. We recommend that you clean your jewellery after use or if it has been in contact with chemicals, such as perfume, hairspray or chlorine.

It is not recommended to sleep, shower & bathe or participate in sport while wearing jewellery.
